Legend Award

This award seeks to recognise an established arts practitioner who has made a significant, long-term contribution to the NT performing arts sector.

An established arts practitioner for the purposes of nomination is someone recognised as an outstanding professional in their field with an extensive track record of artistic practice and has a history of public presentation / achievement and peer recognition. An established arts practitioner has more than ten years of professional practice.

The outstanding person can be from any genre of performing arts, including dance, music, theatre, musical theatre, opera, circus, physical theatre and comedy.

Eligibility

Nominees must be:

  • an Australian citizen or have permanent residence status
  • over 18 years of age
  • a current resident of the NT.

Individuals may be required to provide evidence of being a NT resident by providing a driver’s license, utilities bill, electoral roll registration or other similar documentation.
